United Utilities Working Party + Heap Road

posted 21 Feb 2012, 13:45 by Rochdale & Bury Bridleways Association   [ updated 23 Jan 2013, 12:14 ]

Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that United Utilities are looking for volunteers to do a litter pick this Saturday, 25th February at the parking area at the top of Woodhouse Lane and the parking area at the top of Overtown Lane (behind the White Lion where the old mill was) 10.00 am until 12.00 noon.  Please wear your vest if you can spare some time to help out as it’s a good opportunity to show that we do care about our local environment.

Also, on Monday, 27th February Ann-Marie Ingram – a Level 1 Centred Riding Instructor is coming to speak to us and I have been told that we should bring some reins to the meeting (sounds interesting!)… 8.30 pm at The Pack Horse.

And finally, anyone who can give a statement of use at the Public Inquiry for Heap Road should contact me as soon as possible because we have to send them in during the next two weeks.

Regards

Barbara
