Buddy Scheme

Do you Fancy Finding New Routes to Ride in the Rochdale and Bury Area?
 
We have created a Buddy Scheme for the Area. The intention is to have names and contact details for people who are willing to show others their favourite rides.
The rides will be posted below with
  • the contact details of the Buddy
  • a brief description of the ride (possibly including pictures and maps)
All you need to do is contact the Buddy and arrange a mutually convenient date to go on the ride.
 
To become a Buddy you need to
  1. Have a favourite ride that you ride regularly
  2. Be prepared to take one or two others on the ride at a mutually predetermined time and date
  3. Be prepared for your contact details (phone or e-mail) to be added to the Website
  4. Send details of the ride (description, how long roughly in miles and hours, speed you are prepared to go at (ie will you do it at walk if required or only go at a pace); Contact Details (any of e-mail, landline, mobile etc); pictures on the route if you have them and a map of the route if you have one plus anything else you think might be of use to rbbaenquires@googlemail.com
The ride will then be added to the list. If at anytime you wish to be removed from the Buddy Scheme just e-mail us and your wish will be our command.
The more Buddies, the more rides so get volunteering.
 
Don't forget we have printed two leaflets of Circular rides (Bury to Birtle and back; Bury to Buckhurst and back). These can be obtained from Gill Morrell at any Monthly Meeting. Cost is £1 (50p for printing and 50p for Bridleways funds)
